The reflection within:
The most common study of one's self is the physical analysis in which we stare in the mirror repetitively to ensure our head looks right and our face is presentable. We brush and stare at our teeth to ensure nothing filthy is in them. We then iron our apparel to a crisp to ensure we are fresh and attractive for style and swagg... but what about WHO we are? Should we not look within- to stare at the mirror of mental capacity? Aptitude, knowledge, and wisdom is more presentable than ANY face you can make up, draw on, or filter. Should we not speak with clarity and positivity? Whitening the teeth and good breath is great until there is nothing but negativity, foul verbiage, and odorous perspective spat. Should we not iron out our wrinkled messes and pettiness? Self awareness within character and class is more stylish than any wardrobe selection. The physical presentation is wonderful coating of the flesh, but the purity of the spirit and mind is where true beauty lies. Blacks in particular OWN fashion, style, and swagg but spend more time decorating it than living by it... same can be said for every race, but it is not nearly as extreme. Overall, we need to fine tune WHO we are as opposed to WHAT we look like- and the perception, appearance, and expectaction of beauty will shift. Live amazing with reflection of substance and you shall look gorgeous by all standard...the coating will make your physical reflection appear without flaw to those with depth. LOFT
